In addition to my work as a performer, I also run a private teaching practice from my home in Impington. Online lessons are also available.

An experienced tutor, I enjoy working with aspiring singers of all ages and abilities in order to help people sing the music they love in the healthiest way possible. I am happy to work on a wide range of repertoire, including opera and classical pieces, musical theatre repertoire, pop and film music, jazz standards and anything in between. I can help prepare pupils for concerts and exams, and teach the building blocks of music to anyone wanting to learn how to read music and get a grasp of basic music theory.

I have taught privately for a number of years, and have also held posts in various schools as a peripatetic singing teacher. My pupils all sing for enjoyment, and I have also helped many of them to attain qualifications at a high level. Many of my pupils have taken ABRSM singing exams, from Prep Test to Grade 8, with a 100% pass rate. I have also helped past pupils to secure choral scholarships at Oxford University and places at the BRIT School.

I work with my students in order to foster a strong and healthy vocal technique, excellent musicianship and strong performance ability. All three areas are vital for the development of good singing, no matter the level of performance to which you are aspiring! Lessons are fun, creative and tailored to each individual student's personal development.

Sessions are priced at £35 an hour.
